The thing about feelings, of joy or sorrow; something funny or embarrassing, is that when you're feeling them it becomes difficult to understand that the situation will ever feel any other way. When something is funny, so far as you believe, that thing will always be as funny. When you feel embarrassed, that moment will haunt you with the same intensity. However, it never continues in the same way. It decays over time and you forget. Everything is temporary.
Surprisingly though, the notion of 'everything's temporary' - becoming more chaotic, if you will - should never sound as depressing or deep or upsetting as it appears on its surface. The fact of the matter is simply improvement, practice at life, moving you forever onward and becomming part of who you are.
If anything bogs you down. Don't worry. It is temporary, and if you dwell for too long on the same passing feeling - as hard as it may be to let go - it is always of your own doing. So just stop and notice that nothing is slowing down for you, everything continues at exactly the same pace. You are a master of time. So do the things you're meant to do before the time is gone; and wait.
...Wait for the bad times to all go away; wait even more patiently for the good to arrive.
You special little sausage you.
Ciao for now!
Kyle
